Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Akhlak Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 8 Lahat Selatan

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping the morals of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 8 Lahat Selatan. Islamic Religious Education is expected to contribute significantly to the formation of students' characters with noble morals. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data were obtained from students, PAI teachers, and parents to provide a comprehensive picture of the ongoing learning process
The results of the study indicate that the application of varied learning methods, such as discussions, simulations, and extracurricular activities based on religious values, have a positive impact on students' moral behavior. Students showed an increase in attitudes of mutual respect, discipline, and social concern. The discussion of the results of the study indicates that the success of PAI implementation is highly dependent on collaboration between teachers, students, and parents, as well as a supportive school environment.
The conclusion of this study confirms that effective religious education not only increases religious knowledge, but also shapes good student character. This study is expected to be a reference for other educational institutions in designing educational programs that are more oriented towards the development of noble morals. The impact of this research is important in the context of religious learning in schools, as well as its contribution to the formation of an intelligent and moral generation.
