Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek di Sekolah Menengah Atas: Persepsi Siswa Tentang Manfaat dan Hambatan
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigates the benefits and challenges of project-based learning (PBL) at the senior high school level through a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews involving six students. The findings indicate that PBL significantly enhances students' practical skills, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, while also fostering motivation and engagement in learning. However, students also face difficulties in time management, high workloads, and group coordination. These findings are consistent with PBL theory, which emphasizes the application of knowledge in real-world contexts, as well as motivation theory, which links the relevance of the material to an increase in intrinsic motivation. These challenges highlight the need for clearer instruction and additional support in project management. The study has limitations in sample size and data collection methods, so further research is recommended to expand the sample and methods to address the identified obstacles.
